This is the story of an exodus of God’s people from slavery in Egypt—a deliverance by the power of their God, who is the living and true God. It points to the greater deliverance of a people from slavery to sin to ultimately being in the presence of this wondrous, loving, gracious God.

The doctines of grace emphasize the sufficiency of God’s grace to save sinners. These doctrines properly understood are Biblical; they are the message of Christ and the apostles as well as the early church. These doctrines are the central truths of the gospel.
